yourself time and money by making delicious donuts at home. Those fluffy
threads of leavened and fried dough, covered with a sugar glaze, that with
every bite you poke, you think you find yourself in heaven.

sweet. And I also believe that the recipe for “our well-known commercial

  • 500 grams of flour of force

  • 100 ml of water
  • 150 ml milk
  • 25 grams of fresh yeast or

  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • a pinch of salt

1.-The first step will be to dissolve the baker’s yeast in
the water and milk. We simply pour it into a glass and turn with the milk and
water until it is completely dissolved.
2.- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar and salt.
3.- Incorporate the milk together with the butter at room
temperature, the vanilla essence and the egg.
4.- Now is the time to knead. I have used a kitchen robot
because I have it but if it does not have it you will have to do it by hand.
There should be an elastic mass that does not stick. If it
continues to stick, you will need a little more flour. It will take about 10
minutes. Be patient, it takes time to get smooth and soft, little by little.
5.- We form a ball with the dough and put it in a bowl with
a drop of olive oil so that it does not stick. We cover it with plastic wrap
and put in a warm place in the house until it doubles or triples the volume.
6.- After that time we remove the dough and knead it again.
We put a drop of flour on the table, knead.
7.- With the help of a roller we stretch and leave it 1 cm
thick or so. Don’t worry it gets back on.
8.- With the help of a plating ring we make the donuts.
9.- We will make the donut hole with the neck of a bottle. I
have used the typical 500 ml water.
10.- We place them on top of vegetable paper so that they
double their volume again. It will take another two hours. Put a clean cloth on
top and let them rest.
11.- As you can see they have doubled their volume. We
prepare a plate with absorbent paper, plenty of sunflower oil and that’s it.
There are people who bake them and put beaten egg on top but I have to say that
these are no longer the classic donuts.
12.- The temperature of the oil is important, do not put it
on high heat, always pulling low since they brown very quickly. Cut the baking
paper and fry it. This trick is good because this way we do not manipulate the
donuts and we do not make everything that has been fermented go down.
13.- We pass to a kitchen paper and let it cool down.

14.- To make the donut glaze, put the glass sugar with a few
drops of water, little by little we add drops of water until obtaining a thick
mixture, which can be handled with a brush. Brush our donuts with glaze and
that’s it. Spectacular.
